Your Contribution: The Advanced AI & Technology Innovation Specialist helps MAHLE explore new technologies and solve difficult business problems. You must be able to understand new technologies, build and test working prototypes personally, lead small innovation projects, and explain results clearly to business stakeholders and management. Successful concepts are prepared for transfer to the responsible implementation or service organization.
Identify and assess emerging technologies, solutions, vendors, and trends, with particular emphasis on advanced AI Translate complex business problems and unmet needs into clear innovation hypotheses and solution approaches Scout suitable solutions and evaluate their maturity, feasibility, fit, risks, scalability, and business impact Design, develop, and test non-productive prototypes to validate concepts and support decisions Lead focused innovation initiatives, coordinating scope, contributors, timing, risks, and stakeholder expectations Communicate technologies, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Contribute to the MAHLE technology and IT roadmap and prepare validated concepts for transfer to the responsible service or implementation organization Your Experience and
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field Several years of relevant experience in AI, software or solution development, technology innovation, or applied research Strong hands-on experience with advanced AI technologies, modern AI frameworks, programming, APIs, cloud platforms, and rapid prototyping Ability to assess and prototype emerging technologies beyond AI Sound understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, responsible AI, and technology governance Experience leading cross-functional technology or innovation projects; international industrial or automotive experience is an advantage Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous challenges and derive testable solutions Exceptional technical curiosity, learning agility, and hands-on prototyping capability Strong business acumen and focus on practical applicability and measurable value Strong project leadership, ownership, and ability to drive initiatives under uncertainty Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical, business, and management audiences Particularly good written and spoken business English, preferably at CEFR level C1 or above Do you have any questions?
