As a SAP ABAP Manager you will support client needs within our Advisory practice, focusing on SAP technology solutions that help organizations improve operational efficiency through installation, configuration, development, administration, and support. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior staff, manage project workstreams, and bring strategic planning, accountability, and professional judgment to complex delivery across client accounts. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will guide SAP ABAP work through design, build, testing, and production support activities while helping shape clear deliverables and practical solutions for business application consulting.
Responsibilities
- Leading SAP ABAP development workstreams for finance ERP transformation initiatives
- Managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple client engagements
- Designing and developing custom ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, and interfaces
- Reviewing technical specifications and code to validate alignment with client requirements and system architecture
- Guiding teams through SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and SAP NetWeaver implementation activities
- Coaching team members on development methods, debugging techniques, and code quality practices
- Analyzing system dependencies and application interactions to support scalable solution design
- Troubleshooting complex defects and performance issues across SAP environments
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation and process optimization
- Communicating technical findings and delivery status to client stakeholders and internal leaders
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 to 11 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: One or more SAP certifications aligned to SAP Technology and platform solutions, including SAP S/4HANA System Administration, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, SAP Security, or related technical architecture credentials
- Demonstrating SAP ABAP development across finance ERP transformations
- Leading client-facing SAP workstreams through planning and delivery
- Applying SAP Fiori, HANA, and NetWeaver knowledge in solutions
- Coaching teams while managing quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Translating business needs into SAP technical design choices
