About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school family. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant setting supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
You will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support both in and out of the classroom, helping pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the learning and development of pupils across the primary age rangeWork with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support SEND needsAssist the teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessonsPromote positive behaviour and inclusive practiceSupport pupils’ social and emotional wellbeingHelp to create a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environmentProvide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children in a school or similar settingBe patient, positive and supportiveHave good communication and teamwork skillsBe adaptable and able to meet the needs of different learnersHave experience working with children with SENDDemonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfareHold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant)
