As DFN Carrier Specialist, you will shape and strengthen the last-mile carrier network across multiple countries, making it easier to onboard customers quickly and deliver a consistently high-quality service. You will combine carrier market expertise, commercial negotiation, operational knowledge and strong relationship management to select, onboard and improve the right partners for the DHL Fulfillment Network.

Your key accountabilities include
- Scan last-mile markets and prioritise the best carriers with local teams
- Negotiate carrier rate cards, commercial terms and contracts
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support rapid issue resolution
- Capture carrier capabilities, restrictions and operating standards in an accessible knowledge base
- Support carrier onboarding, implementation, training and documentation
- Work with global team to support knowledge sharing and communication
- Guide Sales and Project Delivery teams on carrier selection and customer requirements
- Track carrier data quality, KPIs, performance, exceptions and improvement actions
- Lead carrier reviews and cross-functional projects that improve the DFN carrier management approach.
What are we looking for from you?
- In-depth knowledge of last-mile operations and B2C/B2B transport requirements
- Strong understanding of transport considerations including customs, dangerous goods, regulated products, temperature control and oversized freight
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- A consultative, collaborative approach across global, regional and country team
- Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of eCommerce needs and business models.
- A systematic, analytical approach to planning, problem-solving, workflows and knowledge management
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with initiative and enthusiasm for developing the DFN product.
