About this role
We're looking for experienced Interim Senior Commercial Managers to support operational procurement across the ICT category, managing high-value tenders and delivering commercial outcomes in a fast-paced public sector environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ICT procurement activities across products and services.
- Manage high-value tenders using Open Procedures and CCS framework mini-competitions.
- Oversee multiple procurements at different stages of the lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective commercial delivery.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and frameworks.
- Support procurement across networks, infrastructure and SaaS.
Essential experience
- Extensive operational procurement experience within ICT.
- Strong track record delivering high-value tenders.
- Knowledge of PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
- Procurement Act 2023 training completed or willingness to undertake it.

- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Hybrid - 40% office-based
- Rate: £590 per day Umbrella
- IR35: Inside IR35
- Clearance: BPSS, with Parliamentary CTC clearance required before appointment
