Your new company
Hays Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting a Procurement Manager for an established organisation within the healthcare sector. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for procurement, purchasing, inventory and stock management across a multi-site operation. You'll lead an established team while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Your new role
- Lead and develop the procurement and inventory team
- Manage day-to-day purchasing, stock and procurement operations
- Oversee procurement systems and purchase-to-pay processes
- Manage supplier relationships and support commercial negotiations
- Identify savings and operational improvement opportunities
- Maintain effective stock levels and continuity of supply
- Support procurement strategy, audit and financial controls
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced procurement professional with strong leadership, commercial and stakeholder-management skills. Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates from other complex or regulated sectors with strong procurement fundamentals.CIPS or a relevant degree-level qualification is preferred, alongside previous experience leading a procurement or supply function.
