- Apply service-level thinking across complete screening journeys, including digital and non-digital touchpoints.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, priorities and outcome-focused backlogs.
- Work with user research, design, delivery, data, clinical and technical colleagues.
- Balance patient needs, operational requirements, policy constraints and technical considerations.
- Use research, service data and performance evidence to guide product decisions.
- Manage dependencies across teams, systems, suppliers and connected services.
- Communicate product direction and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
Key experience and requirements
- Strong Product Manager experience within GDS-aligned government or public-sector programmes.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Government Service Standard and user-centred service delivery.
- Experience applying service-level thinking across complex, end-to-end user journeys.
- Ability to operate beyond backlog management and shape wider service strategy and outcomes.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary agile teams.
- Strong prioritisation, roadmap development and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience using research and data to support evidence-based product decisions.
- Previous healthcare, screening, clinical-service or wider public-health experience would be highly beneficial.
