Management Accountant - German Speaking
Do you speak Fluent German?
We are looking for an experienced German-speaking Management Accountant. from day-to-day bookkeeping through to month-end close and management reporting.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring strong financial controls and providing timely financial insight within a multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- Own the month-end close process, management accounts and variance analysis.
- Maintain balance sheet, fixed asset, intangible asset and IFRS 16 lease reconciliations.
- Post payroll journals with accurate cost centre allocations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, year-end close, statutory reporting and external audits.
- Ensure robust financial controls, clear audit trails and compliance with IFRS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, communicating confidently in German and English.
Skills and Experience
- Fluent in German
- Proven experience in management accounting and end-to-end bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, balance sheet control and IFRS.
