Your new company
A fast-growing Lincoln-based company is looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk for a 3-6-month period as they head into their busiest financial period of the year.
Your new role
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Maintaining supplier accounts and records
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
- Assisting with month-end finance processes as required
- Supporting external audit requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous substantial experience within Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, able to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- You will be living in the Lincoln area as the role is 100% office-based and will have your own transport due to the rural location
