Are you eager to land a brand new permanent role? Our client, an educational institute in South London, are looking for an experienced Director of SEND to join their team and play a crucial role in their SEND operations.
Position: Director of SEND
Location: South London
Salary: £67,497 - £80,563 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Duties
- Take a strategic lead in the development of curriculum ensuring that innovative and cost-effective models of delivery are developed and introduced which enable high levels of student success and positive destinations.
- Contribute to and support the work of the College SLT across the organisation and drive up professional expectations and standards to delivery an outstanding learner experience.
- In partnership with relevant local authorities, develop and drive the College strategy for SEND provision and drive the development and growth of funded learning opportunities and supported internships.
Job Requirements
- A degree in an English or Maths subject.
- Teaching qualification.
- Evidence of successfully teaching SEND.
- Evidence of managing SEND provision to at least course leadership level.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential for this role.
