About this role
We're looking for an experienced IT Technician for a temporary, on-site contract in Belfast. You'll provide hands-on break/fix support, troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues and work directly with users, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.
The Role
- Provide first and second-line IT support
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Carry out laptop, desktop and peripheral break/fix
- Set up and replace IT equipment
- Support Windows and Microsoft 365
- Log and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system
- Escalate more complex technical issues
- Provide clear, professional support to users
Essential Criteria
- Previous IT Technician, Desktop Support or Service Desk experience
- Strong hardware and break/fix skills
- Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident dealing directly with non-technical users
Desirable Criteria
- IT-related qualification or certification
- Active Directory experience
- Experience with device deployment or endpoint management
