PERSON- & POSITION SPECIFICATION
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Accurate bulk picking, checking and packing of orders.
- Off-loading containers and containers
- Loading of trucks
- Accurate picking and checking of orders
- Incoming stock: assist checking of stock; pack incoming stock in proper locations with scanner.
- Ensure tidiness of warehouse (Proper housekeeping)
- Assist with writing waybills when needed
- Assist with cycle counts and stock take
- Assist customers with collections
- Hand over parcel after hours for collections – security
- HSE, Pro-Active reporting & LEAN awareness
- Assist with assembly of valves, micro’s & Filter banks
Requirements
Education and Experience
Necessary skills/competencies
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12
- Neat and clear writing
- Excellent communication skills: Afrikaans and English (written and verbal)
- Good numeracy skills
- Good computer literacy – good with admin
- Prepare to do labour intensive work
- 3+ years Receiving and dispatching/warehouse experience
- Forklift licence
- Need to work overtime when required
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Preferred/advantageous skills
- 3+ years Digital picking, checking and packaging experience with bin locations
- Tertiary qualification an advantage
- Driver’s licence
- Own reliable transport

Employment offer
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08h00-17h00, and Friday 08h00-16h00.
- Permanent employment, subject to probation period of three (3) months
- Location: Kraaifontein, Cape Town
