Schedule and Salary
- Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM
- Starting wage: $26.20/h – increase to $26.85/h after 3 months
- Night shift premium: $2.00/h
Responsibilities
The Loader Operator is responsible for the continuous supply of raw materials required for production, while ensuring safe and efficient management of aggregates on site.
Specifically, the role includes
- Supplying production lines with aggregates based on operational needs
- Feeding silos and storage areas using heavy equipment
- Loading trucks with defective products (scrap) for disposal or recycling
- Transporting sand to the heated plate during the winter period
- Performing snow removal operations during winter to maintain safe working conditions
- Receiving aggregate trucks, directing them to the appropriate unloading areas, and ensuring smooth operations
- Verifying the conformity of received aggregates and moving them to designated storage areas
- Complying with health and safety procedures as well as company quality standards
- Conducting visual inspections of equipment and reporting any anomalies or maintenance needs
Job Requirements
- Recognized training in heavy equipment operation (loader) with a valid competency card
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a loader operator
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply common sense
- Strong focus on safety and professionalism
Work Environment 🦺
- Industrial setting with exposure to moving machinery, vibrations, and loud noise
Physical Requirements 💪
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 22 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to stand, reach, climb, and maintain balance for extended periods
- Ability to perform physical tasks in an active work environment

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
