New World Kaiapoi is looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded Produce Manager to take the reins of our Produce Department and make it something truly special. We're passionate about delivering the freshest, highest-quality fruit and vegetables to our local community, and we need a strong leader who can bring energy, pride and outstanding standards to the department every day.
- What You'll Be Doing Leading, coaching and developing the team to build a positive, high-performing culture.
- Managing ordering, stock rotation and availability while minimising waste.
- Taking ownership of sales, gross profit, wages and rosters.
- Maintaining exceptional produce quality, presentation and food safety standards.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring pricing accuracy.
- What We're Looking For Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Retail experience, ideally in Produce Commercially minded, organised and results-driven.
- A passion for fresh produce, quality and presentation.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
