Butcher – Full Time PAK’nSAVE Rolleston We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Butcher to join our busy Butchery team at PAK’nSAVE Rolleston. Working in our modern supermarket butchery, you’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting a range of fresh, high-quality meat products for our customers. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, has a strong eye for quality and presentation, and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, hands-on team. This is a full-time position worked across four days . Specific days and hours will be discussed with the successful applicant. What the role involves: Preparing and cutting a wide range of fresh meat products to a high and consistent standard Boning, trimming, portioning and value-adding products for retail sale Ensuring products meet our expectations for quality, freshness and presentation Maintaining attractive and well-stocked displays throughout the day Following production plans and working efficiently to meet customer demand Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness Monitoring product quality and ensuring stock is rotated correctly Working collaboratively with the wider Butchery team to deliver outstanding results
What we’re looking for
- Butchery qualification is essential Previous experience working as a Butcher in a busy retail or supermarket environment Supermarket butchery experience would be an advantage A genuine passion for producing and presenting fresh, quality products Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality and presentation of your work Good time management and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A positive, reliable and hands-on attitude Physically fit and comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including regular lifting Able to work independently while also being a strong team player Why join us PAK’nSAVE Rolleston is a locally owned store where we work hard, support each other and take pride in what we offer our customers.
