Key Responsibilities
- Lead NPI quality readiness activities, including APQP, risk assessments, and control plan deployment
- Identify and mitigate risks across design, process development, and industrialization phases
- Ensure product and process capability prior to production launch (validation, qualification, testing)
- Drive early root cause analysis for design and process issues to prevent downstream defects
- Translate quality requirements into actionable engineering controls and inspection/test methods
- Partner with R&D, Engineering, and Operations to ensure design-for-quality and manufacturability
- Integrate lessons learned from customer issues and production into future NPI programs
- Monitor key quality metrics during ramp-up and drive corrective actions to stabilize performance
- Drive prevention-focused quality execution to reduce launch risk and accelerate time to stable production Secondary Responsibilities
- Aligns with QMS execution for control systems and documentation
- Supports customer issue resolution through strong system discipline
- Support Product Quality Architecture Certifications and Sustainability program
- Support Cost of Quality monitoring and improvements Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- 5–7 years of experience in quality engineering, QMS, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of QMS standards, audit processes, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D)
- Project Management Experience (Member)
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments with system-level quality focus
- Strong Command of the English Language (spoken, written, and comprehension) Experiences/Education - Desired
- Progressive experience in quality
- Process engineering experience (capability, variation reduction, control plans)
