POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY To provide expert advice and execution in the overall establishment and implementation of BIM for the Asset Replacement Program Baggage Handling System KL International Airport (ARP BHS) project and MAHB group. To be the focal point for assessing, reviewing, advising, recommending, and overseeing the implementation of the BIM implementation in compliance with local and international standards. Steer the development of all required standards, and requirements to meet all hierarchy of information requirements in accordance with ISO19650 Standard, specifically for the ARP BHS project.
To enable and promote BIM implementation at MAHB focusing on the benefits gained from the ARP BHS project. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS To anchor and provide expert advice on BIM implementation during pre-construction, construction, and post construction stage of ARP BHS project To review and recommend for approval of any BIM-related submissions throughout ARP BHS project implementation inclusive but not limited to BIM Execution Plan, BIM Facilities, BIM Models, BIM Quality Assurance (QA) Validation Matrix, etc To anchor and lead workshop on the preparation of MAHB road map and reference documents for BIM implementation that is consistent with company business plan and operational needs, includes but not limited to MAHB BIM Framework and protocal at MAHB Group, MAHB BIM Standards and Guidelines; MAHB BIM Need Statement; MAHB BIM Term of Reference.
To provide expert and professional advice in establishing Common Data Environment (CDE), Project Information Managament and collaborative working management including processes and procedures for information exchange on projects; initiating and implementing the Project Information Plan and Asset Information Plan; assisting in preparation of Project Outputs ; and Implementation of the BIM Protocol, including the updating of the Model Production Delivery Table. To perform the integrity and the quality checking and audit of the BIM model submitted by the contractor to ensure all the required data, specifications, naming convention and other requirements meets the required standard.
To ensure capturing and integrating asset data within the BIM environment including linked data using international standard i.e. Construction, Operations, and Building Information Exchange (COBie) into MAHB's existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system i.e. SAP for ARP BHS project. To provide input on BIM Training requirements; BIM Facilities requirements; Employers Information Requirements (EIRs); BIM Protocols; and other necessary items which are deemed required for BIM implementation.
To establish and maintain templates, standards, workflow, families, libraries, and the overall model within BIM-related software for ARP BHS project. To develop and maintain the BIM model (up to LOD500) for ARP Automated People Mover (APM) project. To validate BIM data security protocal in accordance with MAHB IT Security policies. Other relevant tasks as and when required to ensure successful implementation of Building Information Modelling for ARP BHS project and MAHB group Key Challenges Meeting the prospect of clients of overseas airport on proposal of airport training can be carried out in locally or abroad in order to generate external revenue Meeting with current airport business on retaining the manpower secondment as per project planned Skills Character: 1.
- Strong technical knowledge in BIM implementation and project management that utilise the BIM platfroms and tools in multi disciplinary and mega project.
- 3. Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment.
- 4. Able to work independently to guide the team for BIM establishment and implementation 5.
- Responsive, proactive and aggressive with a strong team working skills with ability to build trusted relationships with people and groups with diverse backgrounds.
- 6. Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments with effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
- Experiences in BIM Implementation.
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Common Data Environment (CDE) and other BIM-related softwares (within a professional project mainly in MEP project)
- Experience in creation and standardization of workflow, coordination, templates and styles, families, libraries, etc
- Experience in Design Development and Construction Documentation
- Experience in coordinating a multi-disciplinary project team (engineers, consultants, and contractor)
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the standards and methodologies available and have the capabilities to execute BIM requirements for this project.
- Experience in developing and managing BIM Execution Plan.
- Experience in managing Facilities Management Standard Information transfer.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or any relevant accredited degree.
Relevant Industries Work Experience More than 5 years’ working experience in Senior Executive/ Manager level. Posses end-to-end BIM implementation and design technology practical experience in the construction of major facilities with proven track record Unique Requirement Professional Certificate in Building Information Management (BIM) from any recognised certification body, Knowledgeable in ISO19650 standard application & implementation Additional Information Open fo r Malaysian citizens only.
