We are incredibly proud to be opening a new, purpose-built Inclusion Base in September 2026 - a calm, welcoming and carefully designed space that places belonging, relationships and personalised learning at its heart.

To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for a skilled, compassionate HLTA to join our team in the Summer Term, so you can help us shape, design and prepare the provision before it opens.

About the role

Working alongside the Headteacher, SENDCo, Nurture Lead and our NurtureUK-trained colleagues, you will:

Help co-create a bespoke model of nurture and small-group teaching tailored to our pupils and communityLead high-quality, structured small-group teaching sessions that close learning gaps and build confidenceSupport children using nurturing, relational and strengths-based approachesBuild warm, trusting partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring communication is open, supportive and collaborativeWork closely with external professionals (such as Educational Psychologists, Family Support and Health) to ensure every child receives joined-up supportUse assessment tools such as Boxall Profiles and Integration Scales to help plan provision and demonstrate progressContribute to a provision that champions equity, inclusion and opportunity, particularly for our most disadvantaged pupilsWe are looking for someone who:

Holds HLTA status or has significant relevant experience across primary phasesBrings empathy, patience and a deeply child-centred approachUnderstands nurture principles, relational practice and trauma-informed approachesCan deliver high-quality learning in small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2Is confident working with parents and carers, and values their role as partnersCan collaborate effectively with colleagues and professionalsWants to help shape a new provision — bringing ideas, creativity and initiative
