About the roleAs a Software Development Project Manager, you will lead key R&D initiatives, where software, robotics, process know-how and surface finishing expertise come together to create next-generation automation solutions for global industrial customers. Work tasksThis role involves managing the full lifecycle of complex software and automation projects, bridging the gap between technical execution and business goals to bring innovative products to the shelf.- Leading software development projects from initial concept to final market release- Coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams within a matrix organization- Overseeing the renewal and modernization of existing automation products- Managing the end-to-end development of a completely new software product- Applying agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery- Facilitating communication between technical teams and internal stakeholders- Ensuring software integrations align with industrial automation standardsWe are looking for- At least 3-5 years of project management experience in technology-driven environments- Solid understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams- Good understanding of industrial automation systems and software integration- Fluent English communication skillsIt is meritorious if you have- Knowledge of computer vision, robotics, or scanning technologies- Experience with AI-based automation solutions- Background in customer-oriented project implementations- Relevant technical degree- Proficiency in FinnishOur recruitment processThis recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
