Bark River-Harris Schools is in need of one JH sideline cheer coach.
Pay: Schedule B
Schedule: Mid-August to Mid - November. Evening hours are required.
Qualifications
- Experience as a cheerleader.
- Experience in coaching a team preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all cheerleading appearances and activities for Junior High Sideline Cheer.
- Must attend all Junior High football and JV Football games.
- Actively support the academic integrity of BRH, keeping academics at the highest priority for the students.
- Provide appropriate and necessary guidance, advising, and counseling for the squad members.
- Be knowledgeable of and steadfastly use current accepted safety practices and procedures for all cheer activities and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students.
- Supervise and instruct cheerleaders on skills development and performance routines for all games and events.
- Meet with parents and students prior to season to lay out expectations of the program.
- Collaborate with and work with all Competitive and Sideline Cheer coach to prepare students for Varsity Sideline Cheer.
