About this role
Qualified applicant is preferred to have a high school or General Equivalency diploma (GED). A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in school foodservice/preparation industry is required.
The successful applicant will operate point of sale during breakfast/lunch; prepare and/or serve breakfast and/or lunch; assist in putting away weekly food deliveries; maintain cafeteria kitchens, serving areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition. Learning and performing managerial responsibilities will also be required.
Work environment includes, but not limited to, significant lifting (up to 30 lbs.), carrying, pushing and/or pulling and stooping. Generally, the job requires 50% walking and 50% standing.
This is a full-time position; location and hours will vary (6 hours per day, and a 30-minute non-paid lunch) Must be willing to travel to all schools throughout Wilson County. 177 work days per year
Pay starts at $16.23 per hour
