Queen City High School is seeking a creative, dedicated art teacher who is passionate about helping students develop artistic skills, explore their creativity, and express themselves through the visual arts.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid Texas teacher certification appropriate for teaching high school art.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide engaging instruction for students with diverse abilities and experience levels.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach art lessons aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
- Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, media, and processes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom.
- Assess student progress and showcase student artwork.
- Collaborate with campus staff and communicate effectively with families.
