About this role

Bethel School District is seeking qualified applicants who need district sponsorship, in order to obtain a restricted substitute teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to join our substitute teaching pool. Hours, duties and assignments are on an on-call basis and will vary depending on the position.

Note: Candidates who are currently licensed through Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) do not follow this process and should instead sign up with Lane ESD to sub in Bethel School District. If you already hold a license with TSPC, please reference this link on the Bethel website for information regarding the steps.

We are actively recruiting the best candidates for teaching positions, especially those from non-traditional backgrounds. Bilingual and/or bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive preferential consideration.

If you are interested in working as a licensed substitute and have a bachelor's degree, we encourage you to apply, even if you do not currently possess a teaching license. If you have questions about obtaining a license with TSPC, please contact Molly Lucas, Human Resource Specialist, by email or phone: [email protected] or 541.579.2369.
