Student Nurse Clinical Placement Application
Spring 2026
Thank you for your interest in completing your Student Nursing Clinical Placement with Aledo ISD for Spring 2026.
Nursing students who are required to complete clinical rotations or internship hours as part of their university or nursing program must complete this application.
Please note that clinical placements are limited based on campus availability and district needs. Our Human Resources Department will review applications and notify applicants regarding placement availability.
Application Instructions
- Complete and submit this application. List three professional references and send the electronic reference surveys through the application system. At least two satisfactory references must be received before your application can be approved.
- Upload a letter from your University or Nursing Program confirming your clinical placement requirements, including the number of hours needed, the type of clinical experience requested, and any specific grade level or campus requirements. Upload this document to your application as "Program Letter."

Approval and Placement
Once all application requirements have been completed, the Human Resources Department will review your information and provide further instructions regarding background clearance, fingerprinting requirements, approval, and available clinical placements.
Fingerprinting: Student nurses may be required to complete fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (TEA), depending on the nature of their clinical placement and level of student access. Human Resources will determine whether fingerprinting is necessary and provide instructions if applicable.
Important: This application is for Fall 2026 Student Nursing Clinical Placements only. It is not intended for student teaching, field-based experiences, or general classroom observation hours.
