About this role

Essential Job Functions

  • 1) To ensure safe loading and unloading of school bus riders using approved loading and unloading procedures.
  • 2) Assist the driver in maintaining acceptable behavior on school buses.
  • 3) Assist drivers to keep on schedule.
  • 4) Attend all required school bus safety training sessions

Hours of Work: 180 days per school year, 19 1/2 hours per week: 7-9am and 2-4pm

Position Type: Part Time

Additional Requirements

  • 1) Acceptable results of a national background check
  • 2) High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • 3) Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • 4) Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public
  • 5) Physically able to meet the demands of the job
  • 6) Citizenship, Residency, or work visa required
