About this role
Duties
- Keep the perimeter of buildings clean.
- Carry out minor DIY as and when required.
- Use initiative while keeping within organisation health and safety policies.
- General cleaning duties - floors buffed, external maintenance - downstairs windows and doors cleaned, footpath and steps kept clean, outside garden regularly cut and weeded.
- Keep store areas tidy and do regular stock take.
- Help set and up and tidy up after meetings /external groups.
- May have to provide some after hours security on occasion for external groups.
- Collect recycled and food waste from areas adhering to waste management policy.
- Mindful of Health and Safety and HACCP guidelines at all times (training provided).
- Manual Handling (training provided).
- Provide after hours security when and if required.
- Be able to identify requirements for proper upkeep of building.
- Painting and decorating may be required..
