About this role
- Construction, assembly, repair, modify all types of commercial vehicle bodywork, including but not limited to box bodies, flatbed, drop-side, curtain side, bespoke builds.
- Measure, cut, shape, weld, fabricate and assemble structural components on commercial vehicle bodies.
- Assemble and secure body panels, doors, frames, floors and external fittings.
- Follow workplace health & safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workshop, keeping workshop free from any hazards.
- Correctly disposing of all packaging and material off-cuts.
- Quality control of work, checking torque values and carrying out any necessary safety checks
