Function As Project Manager you are responsible for accepting assignments, preparing, organizing, and supervising industrial maintenance projects. On the front end, there are commercial aspects; much of the technical work is in the preparation, and during execution, you are focused on safety and delivering 'first time right' work. You switch effortlessly between client contacts, technical preparation, and operational management during the realization phase of multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying client needs and providing adequate follow-up, surveying work on-site, measuring, and requesting client specifications.
- Drafting work plans, calculations, and quotes based on technical drawings and client requirements.
- Preparing quotes and securing assignments.
- Conducting on-site measurements yourself and, based on these, creating working drawings (where necessary) in AutoCAD .
- Outsourcing detailed engineering to external engineering firms, including drafting clear and complete briefings.
- Estimating required personnel, ordering equipment and materials, and potentially outsourcing specific tasks, such as CNC work.
- Coordinating and planning execution with all stakeholders.
