Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit tax returns and related filings (e.g., corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax) in line with statutory deadlines.
- Advise internal stakeholders on tax implications for business decisions, transactions, and organizational changes.
- Monitor tax law developments and translate changes into practical guidance, processes, and documentation.
- Support audits, tax authority queries, and information requests; maintain clear, audit-ready records.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities; recommend mitigation actions and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, payroll, and external advisors to ensure consistent tax treatment and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements, controls, and periodic reporting related to tax positions and provisions.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a corporate, consultancy, or public practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Ability to interpret legislation and apply it to real-world cases with clear recommendations.
- High accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong documentation skills.
- Effective stakeholder communication and ability to explain complex tax topics in plain language.
