Key responsibilities
- Advise senior management on concern-wide financial control, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Coordinate and improve planning & control cycles, including multi-year plans, annual budgets, and periodic management reports.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies, internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.
- Analyze financial results, risks, and trends; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support audits and accountability processes; ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency in reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.
Required skills and experience
- Expertise: Concern control, financial governance, reporting, planning & control, and risk management.
- Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate clear conclusions.
- Stakeholder management: Confident advisor to leadership with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- Process improvement: Experience optimizing financial processes, controls, and reporting standards.
