Monumental is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will scale production of robot systems from 30 to 100 units per quarter, turning prototypes into production-ready modules.
Wat ga je doen
- Increase quarterly production from 30 to 100 robot systems within a year
- Take prototypes through to production-ready modules
- Assemble modules and address production friction
- Develop fixtures, jigs and light automation for assembly
- Outsource low-value production processes to external suppliers
- Produce drawings, assembly instructions and quality checks
Wat je meebrengt
- Industry experience, ideally in a VC-backed start-up, transitioning products from prototype to production
- Hands-on, analytical mindset for building assemblies and solving production issues
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly (press fits, fastener selection, harness, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and producing 3D and 2D drawings
- Experience creating structured process documentation (work instructions, SOPs, quality checklists)
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken Mooi meegenomen
- BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- Familiarity with robotics or complex electromechanical systems
