Head Waiter We are seeking an experienced and professional Head Waiter to join our high-end Italian restaurant, VENTUNO. You will be responsible for leading and managing our service team, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities - lead and manage the service team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation; - ensure prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to inquiries and special requests; - collaborate with kitchen and management staff to ensure a seamless dining experience; - oversee table setting and presentation, ensuring a clean and attractive environment; - manage beverage service, including wine recommendations and upselling; - maintain accurate billing and financial records, including cash handling and tips management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Head Waiter or similar role in a high-end restaurant;
- strong leadership and management skills;
- ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints;
- knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, including wine pairings and recommendations;
- ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment;
- excellent organizational and communication skills.
