Job description
This internship is immediately available and also from January/February 2027. Are you practical, organized, and eager to learn how the logistics behind a large hotel work? During this internship at Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven, you will discover how important a well-organized warehouse is for the smooth running of our daily operations. You will be part of a dynamic hotel environment where no day is the same. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that all departments have the right materials and supplies. What you will do
During your internship, you will get acquainted with various tasks in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory management.
This includes
- Receiving, checking, sorting, and storing incoming goods;
- Collecting and distributing goods to different departments;
- Checking and replenishing stocks in the warehouses and linen room;
- Managing linens and cleaning materials for our housekeeping department;
- Keeping the warehouse and linen room neat, organized, and safe;
- Assisting with orders and processing purchase orders in our ordering system;
- Maintaining contact with colleagues from other departments and suppliers;
- Brainstorming on how to make our logistics processes even smarter and more efficient.
