As a metal recycling worker, you'll be responsible for sorting, weighing, and dismantling metals. Work in a close team with stable hours and opportunities for growth. Description As a metal recycling worker, you play an essential role in processing and recycling ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You're responsible for sorting, weighing, and dismantling metals, supporting customers as they drop off scrap, and contributing to a sustainable production process.On a typical day, you start with your teammates sorting newly arrived metals.
You weigh and inspect materials, dismantle components, and regularly operate a forklift. You'll work with a shredder machine to process cables, separating out copper, and swapping out containers as needed. You report any issues to your supervisor and keep a close eye on quality. Your working hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Does this varied and responsible position sound like a good fit?
