We are seeking to appoint an organised, proactive and personable Operations Assistant - Sixth Form to join our thriving and ambitious secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our successful Sixth Form provision.

As a large secondary school with a vibrant Sixth Form community, we pride ourselves on high standards, excellent student support and strong academic outcomes. The successful candidate will be central to ensuring our students, staff and visitors experience an efficient, professional and welcoming environment.

The Role

The Sixth Form Operations Assistant will provide high-quality administrative and operational support across all aspects of Sixth Form life. Duties may include:

Supporting the daily administration of the Sixth Form officeActing as a first point of contact for students, parents and visitorsMonitoring attendance, punctuality and student recordsAssisting with timetables, examinations and enrolment processesCoordinating events such as open evenings, interviews and enrichment activitiesSupporting communication with students, families and external partnersMaintaining accurate data systems and recordsWorking closely with the Director of Sixth Form, BEST Lead - Sixth Form and wider pastoral teamThe Successful Candidate Will Have:

Excellent organisational and administrative skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA calm, professional and approachable mannerExperience of working in a busy office or educational setting (desirable)Good IT skillsThe ability to manage priorities effectively and work independentlyA genuine commitment to supporting young people to succeedWe Offer:
