Legal Counsel 8 months======================### About the job:* Advising on corporate law and governance matters for the asset manager and its entities* Providing legal support on treasury activities and transactions Advising on capital markets-related matters, documentation and transactions* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and financial agreements* Supporting internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters relevant to their activities* Working closely with internal teams, including Treasury, Finance, Compliance and senior management* Coordinating with external counsel where required* Identifying legal risks and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice### About the candidate:* Swiss-qualified lawyer with approximately 5+ years of post-qualification experience Solid experience in capital markets and corporate law Previous experience in asset management, banking, financial services or a comparable environment is highly desirable* Experience with treasury matters is an advantage* Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills* Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities* Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-oriented* Fluent English is essential; is preferred Available for a 6-month temporary contract to cover a maternity leave ![ Walters Switzerland]()* Walters Switzerland AG Ciherean ** ![ Walters Switzerland]()* Walters Switzerland AG Ciherean jid6961df1jm jit1042jm jiy26jm
