An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated Catering Department. Hours of work
In this role, you will:
Support with basic food preparation and cookingAssist in the set-up, service, and clearing of the dining areaServe food to students and staff in a professional and welcoming mannerCarry out cleaning duties, including washing up and maintaining hygiene standards
To be successful in this role, you will:
Ideally have at least 6 months’ experience in a catering or food preparation environmentHold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Catering, Food Preparation, or a related qualificationDemonstrate good communication and customer service skillsBe a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleaguesShow flexibility and adaptability to meet the day-to-day needs of the school environment
