- John Horan Transport are currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Truck Drivers to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and in full compliance with road transport legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV vehicles safely and professionally to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, including tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels.
- Load and unload goods where required, ensuring loads are secure and evenly distributed.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of driving hours and mileage.
- Comply with EU Drivers’ Hours, Tachograph regulations and Road Traffic legislation Report defects, incidents or delays promptly to management.
