Are you interested in an exciting opportunity to manage internal communications at a leading global university with over 8,000 staff?

We’re looking for an expert Internal Communications Manager to join our central communications team at the University of Sheffield. We’re a well-connected team and collaborate with leaders and staff from across the organisation.

You will report to the Head of Internal Communications and manage an Internal Communications Officer. You will own your areas of responsibility with a shared purpose towards the collective success of the University.

Our perfect candidate cares deeply about internal communication and employee engagement. You know how to use your significant experience to build an informed, connected, and purposeful workplace.

You will be confident working in a large and complex organisation. You can deliver a range of work from strategy development to incident planning, change communications, leadership briefings and people features, to a consistently high standard.

We are looking for someone who has excellent judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to hold the bigger picture in mind. If you are a hard working internal communications professional, then we would love to hear from you.
