Job summary
Care Plus Group Primary Care practices provides the first point of contact for registered patients accessing the health care service. The service will work collaboratively with patients to assist them in managing and preventing illnesses and coordinating access to specialised care.
Care Plus Group Primary Care practices, Open Door and Quayside, provide services for a client group with a range of diverse and sometimes complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness, and mental health problems and self-neglect.
We are a Social Enterprise and work as a MDT with a range of clinicians and social staff including Mental health practitioners
Please note that Care Plus Group Primary Care are not currently registered to sponsor applicants from outside the EU and EEA.
You will be part of a clinical team that has strong involvement in the design and delivering of care, receive support from our Medical Advisor, protected time for personal development, access to funds for CPD and further professional development.
We welcome and are open to site visits to meet the team and explore our facilities.
Main duties of the job
Salaried GP
Department: CPG Primary Care
Base: Open Door and Quayside Medical Centre
18 hours per week (4 Sessions Per Week), Permanent, Tuesdays and Fridays
Salary: £11,200 per annum per session
As a GP you will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Undertaking face to face and telephone consultations, and as required home visits. Day to day tasks will include reviewing results, repeat px and completing appropriate paperwork. Responsibilities will reflect the requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.

Person Specification
Skills & Knowledge Essential
Clinical Governance. Delivery of QoF targets. Self-audit and reflection. Organised and efficient in record keeping and completion of paperwork. Time management being able to prioritise work and work under pressure. Competent in the use of Microsoft Applications.
Desirable
SystmOne Experience. Adaptability to change. Service Development.
Qualifications Essential
Fully qualified GP with GMC registration, on Medical Performers List. Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate). General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained.
Desirable
Evidence of continued professional development. MRCGP. Experience of teaching undergraduate students. Palliative care. Women's health issues e.g. contraception implants.
Experience Essential
Chronic disease management. Primary prevention & screening services.
Desirable
SystmOne clinical system. Experience of working as GP in a practice for 2 or more years.
Other Essential
Ability to transport self . Ability to work weekends.
