The Role
We are recruiting dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join a 2:1 care team supporting a bright and independent young man in his 20s with complex care needs.
He runs his own travel business and enjoys an active lifestyle, including walks, live music, coffee trips, and travelling.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone who values independence and enjoys getting out into the community. You may also have the chance to accompany him on holidays and trips, providing consistent, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
You will provide person-centred care, including:
Supporting with personal care and medication
Assisting with clinical needs and moving & handling
Encouraging independence and daily living activities
Supporting social outings and community engagement
Providing care during both day and night shifts
Night shifts will involve monitoring, supporting comfort, and ensuring safety throughout the night.
What Were Looking For
Minimum 3 months care experience
Confidence with medication, personal care, and moving & handling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Full UK driving licence (required for day shifts)
Comfortable working in a home with pets
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

Job description Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Hoisting, mobility, personal care, toileting Pain management Physiotherapy exercises and stretches Specialist positioning equipment, wedges, cushions, and electric wheelchair
Desirable
Big personalities, staff who are happy to go to events and travel Staff to be good at problem solving, be able to think outside of the box. Staff to be fun, bubbly, and confident.
