We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join Haydock Medical Centre on a full-time basis. Main duties of the job

This is a dynamic, patient-facing Clinical Pharmacist role, focused on delivering evidence-based pharmaceutical care in Primary Care. You will use your expert knowledge of medicines to support patients with specific disease areas and long-term conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

Clinically assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing (where qualified)

Optimising medicines and improving prescribing safety

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes

Supporting medication reviews and structured medicines optimisation

Contributing to service development and innovative working practices

Working with Divisional Boards and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver strategic priorities

This role requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment, offering the opportunity to work resourcefully within a team to meet organisational priorities while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Qualified Pharmacist Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) or equivalent Independent Prescribing qualification (or working towards)

Mandatory vaccination evidence required (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella)
