NSFT is seeking an Inclusion and Equity Advisor to support the delivery of our statutory and strategic commitments to equality, diversity, and inclusion. About the Role As an Inclusion and Equity Advisor, you will:
Support the coordination and delivery of national workforce equality standards, including WRES, WDES, EDS2, and Gender Pay Gap reporting. Gather, interpret, and present workforce equality data, working closely with People and Culture, HR, and analytics teams. Contribute to the development and monitoring of action plans that improve fairness and inclusion across NSFT. Support staff networks, engagement activities, campaigns, and events that raise awareness and build understanding of inclusion. Help deliver training and resources that promote inclusive practice and psychological safety. Provide operational and administrative support to inclusion projects, meetings, and working groups. Be a visible and approachable point of contact for staff, helping to build a culture where everyone feels safe, heard, and supported.
Main duties of the job What We're Looking For
Education to Level 5 (e.g. Foundation Degree, NVQ Level 5) or equivalent experience in a comparable role. Experience supporting or coordinating work related to equality, inclusion, or staff experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyse and present data clearly. Organised, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of key equality legislation, NHS equality frameworks, and the importance of data in driving improvement.
