Job summary

We have an excellent opportunity for a Step 2 Clinical Supervisor to join the leadership team for our NHS Talking Therapies service providing first-class mental health care across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

You should have a good track record in mental health provision and be keen to pursue a leadership career. In this position you will be fully involved in both the day-to-day running of the service as well as making a contribution to strategy and helping to shape the future of the service.

Main duties of the job

The role involves comprehensive case management supervision for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) utilising an outcomes-focused approach, encouraging reflective practice and facilitating clinical skills groups as needed. You will ensure adherence to the clinical competency framework for PWPs and will be a strong believer in maintaining the clinical quality of their supervisees' work through regular clinical audits. As part of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Clinical Leads to ensure high standards of clinical delivery and effectiveness. You will be responsible for providing and supervising Step 2 interventions recommended by NICE for clients with mild to moderate common Mental Health Disorders, strictly following the NHS TT Manual.
