If so, we want you to join our Mental Health Assess Line as a Team Leader.In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a dynamic team ensuring they operate efficiently within the Standard Operating Procedures, consistently meet their objectives, and provide a responsive, effective service to those who need it most. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the delivery of a service that collaborates closely with a range of partners, from the Police to the North West Ambulance Service(NWAS), and local authorities.o Lead and empower your team to work confidently and effectively within established Standard Operating Procedures.o Ensure team goals are met, driving continuous improvement and excellence.o Supervise and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of support and development.o Take ownership of day-to-day team management, ensuring swift and high-quality service delivery.o Organise and deliver both management and clinical supervision to staff, supporting their professional growth.o Play a hands-on role in supporting all aspects of the service, helping shape and enhance our mental health response
Main duties of the job
Mental health access line
o You will be a member of a team who provides support, co-ordination and the delivery of a high quality mental health service for service users identified as a high user of services within the Urgent care pathway.
o You will help to co-ordinate the care of the service users, and assist in promoting the use of evidence-based practice through the provision of clinical advice and support; supporting our LSCFT urgent care pathway and providing clear advice that informs better outcomes for our patients.
o You will need to be fully conversant with statutory and non-statutory services in LSCFT, and promote effective liaison, working relationships and operational links as appropriate.
o You will ensure your own safe and effective delivery of care to service users.

Person Specification
Education/ Qualifications Essential
Must hold a relevant professional qualification, (RMN, SW, OT). Ongoing registration Evidence of commitment to continual professional development Completion of, or working towards, management or Leadership Training.
Knowledge Essential
Awareness of the Urgent Care Pathway principles and practice Knowledge of Assessment, Implementation, Monitoring and Review (including risk assessments). Demonstrate awareness of reflective and evidenced based practice (especially in relation to those suffering with a severe and enduring mental illness). Can demonstrate the ability to manage change Good interpersonal skills
Experience Essential
Leadership skills Managing staff Prioritising duties and tasks Verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and as a Team Member
Personal Essential
Ability to conduct night staff supervision which is out of usual contracted hours but gained as time owing. Commitment to further training and the use of supervision Self Motivated Awareness of how to cope with stressful and demanding situations
