About this role

Job summary The Urology Registrar will provide high-quality clinical care to patients with urological conditions, working as part of a consultant-led multidisciplinary team. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and timely care across inpatient, outpatient, elective, and emergency urology services.

Main duties of the job Provide high-quality, patient-centred care for patients with a wide range of urological conditions under Consultant supervision. Assess, investigate, diagnose, and manageelective and emergency urology patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Conductdaily ward rounds, review acutely unwell patients, and ensure timely escalation of concerns. Participate inoutpatient clinics, undertaking assessment, follow-up, and management planning. Assist with and performurological procedures and theatre activity appropriate to level of competence.
