Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.50 Per hour | Sleep-in shifts: £146.00 £155.00 per night
Shifts: Part Time | Day shifts and sleep-in shifts | 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am
We are looking for flexibility to work both day and sleep-in shifts.

Main duties of the job
The Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a friendly lady with complex care needs in her own home. She has congenital muscular dystrophy, which affects her muscle strength and mobility, and requires ongoing support with daily living and clinical care.
She has a great sense of humour and enjoys a wide range of interests, including:
Animals, especially small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters
Her favourite dog breed, corgis
Jigsaws and board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly
TV shows including EastEnders, The Simpsons, and Police Interceptors
She is a big fan of Charmed and enjoys collecting memorabilia
Community activities such as bowling, arcades, and shopping trips
In this role, you will provide person-centred care tailored to her needs, including personal care, medication administration, and Moving & Handling.
You will also support with clinical tasks such as peg feeding, ventilation management, and other aspects of complex care.

What Were Looking For
Minimum 3 months care experience
Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Personal care Continence care, Gastrostomy management, Moving & handling, Support with meal prep and medication management. Support to access the community
Desirable
Female and males Experience around peg, ventilation and passive physiotherapy Excellent communication both verbal and written is essential. Must be pet friendly
