Weekly Practice meeting, where we welcome engagement and contribution, meetings include Education/Business/GSF/Safeguarding and whole Clinical team meetings

About us
We are a friendly, supportive team, based in Whalley with a branch site at Sabden, both situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley.
We have 5 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, ANP, a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, and a large Reception and Admin team. We are a dispensing Practice and have an onsite dispensary at both sites - to give all of our patients a good quality experience at the surgery. We are also a long standing training Practice for GP training.
We have a PCN team who work with our patients, including a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Techs, Care Co-ordinators, GP Assistants, and a Physio.
We have a Housebound Nursing Team of nursing professionals who work with our GPs to provide care to our care home and housebound patients .
The team work well together , making the surgery a harmonious place to work.
We have a highly productive working relationship with the Practices within our PCN. A high QOF achiever we pride ourselves on constantly striving to improve the patient experience.
Job description Job responsibilities
The job involves general GP duties which include patient appointments via the telephone and face to face; dealing with patient prescriptions and medication tasks; visits as required.
Maintaining accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
To prepare and complete the re-validation process. To commit to self-learning and work within an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team.
To adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times. To encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times.

Qualifications Essential
* Fully qualified and registered GP. * Ability to provide good quality of patient care * Good clinical knowledge and skills * Can do attitude * Team player * Open, willing and able to take on change, projects, ad-hoc pieces of * Desire to uphold the open and inclusive culture of the practice * Good interpersonal and communication skills * Good IT skills
