Main duties of the job

Role Overview

As Deputy Manager, you will day to day running of the service, helping ensure high-quality, compliant, and person-centred support. You will lead by example, supporting staff development, and step in for the Registered Manager when required.

Key responsibilities

* Support the set-up and day to day operation of the service

* Assist with recruiting and developing the team in line with our values

* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and internal policies

* Work closely with our support teams and the local authority to introduce new people we support into the service

* Build and maintain positive relationships with families and stakeholders

* Lead shifts and support colleagues to deliver high quality care

Blamsters Farm is a picturesque. well established converted farm setting made up of multiple services of different sizes with a range of specialisations, supporting adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, through person led, values based practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the experienced Registered Manager to help continue our work supporting people in their home.

About you

* Experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader or a leadership role in adult social care

* Level 3 diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards desirable)

* Good understanding of CQC requirements

* Confident, supportive leader with strong communication kills

* Passion for person- centred support and team development

Qualifications Essential

NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
