About this role

Job summary

The post of Resident Doctor Rota Coordinator within the Medical Division offers an interesting and rewarding opportunity. The successful candidate will join a small team responsible for the management of electronic rotas and the day-to-day coordination of medical staffing.

The role provides the opportunity to utilise strong communication skills, engaging with staff across a wide range of roles and seniority levels within the organisation.

Applicants should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

This post requires the ability to work autonomously, while also working closely with the line manager and wider team. There is a daily requirement for problem-solving and decision-making to ensure safe and effective rota coordination.

The post holder will work collaboratively with the division's medical and operational teams and the wider medical staffing network within West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
